It serves snacks and light dishes throughout the day in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The hotel's main restaurant is decorated in subtle shades of blue and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving Mediterranean dishes made with fresh ingredients. Conference rooms with audio visual equipment are available to host functions. Guestrooms. It isn't immediately obvious, but when you cross the road from the National Garden to Panathenaikos Stadium you are actually crossing a river. Once an open waterway, the Ilissos River now runs underneath the traffic. In the 18th century, young women left offerings on the river banks to ensure they got a good husband, while a statue of Venus looked on. There are plans to raise the river and put the traffic underground, but even as it is, this is a delightful place. The gardens are a beautiful green escape from the buzzing Athens streets.
